This alert includes a mapped location of the initial emergency situation, although mapping functionality may be subject to cell coverage availability. Furthermore, nearby protected schools within a 5-mile radius also receive alerts regarding the incident.
Notably, SchoolGuard has been recognized for its role in emergency response by being featured in the AT&T FirstNet App Catalog as a valuable tool for first responders.
